About the role
- Gather and challenge business requirements
- Define and implement a co-creation approach with business teams to understand their challenges and use cases
- Translate those needs into detailed user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria
- Make trade-offs on requests using prioritization methods to maximize impact
- Establish and facilitate cross-functional governance for the platform
- Build a clear vision for the Data platform aligned with OFI Invest Asset Management's overall strategy
- Develop an ambitious yet realistic roadmap that incorporates business needs, technical constraints and business objectives
- Identify synergies between new OFI Invest projects and the platform
- Identify innovation opportunities to maximize the value of data
- Manage a team of 2 people (task allocation, monitoring, etc.) and maintain relationships with internal IT providers
- Ensure the functional and technical coherence of the Data platform
- Manage the budget and resources (employees and contractors) allocated to the platform
- Propose continuous improvement plans based on user feedback
- Act as the link between IT and the business to ensure company-wide adoption of the platform
- Promote a data-driven culture across business departments
- Design educational materials and organize training sessions to facilitate adoption
Requirements
- Master's degree (engineering school or university)
- Experience in a financial environment (e.g., asset management, banking, insurance)
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in data product management or in a data-driven environment
- Experience in development and project management
- Fluent English
