About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the trusted first call for in-the-moment coaching on employee relations, performance management, and team dynamics.
- Act as a developmental editor for performance documentation (PIPs, annual reviews, and feedback) and build the toolkits and frameworks that equip managers to lead self-sufficiently across the frontline.
- Own the end-to-end design, launch, and project management of core people programs, including Performance Management, Merit/Promotion cycles, and Engagement Surveys.
- Act as the primary configuration and reporting lead for Culture Amp; producing executive-ready visualizations and identifying data trends to influence people strategy.
- Transform internal frameworks and leadership philosophies into professional, "ready-to-wear" toolkits and resources.
- Direct the administrative lifecycle for nearshore professionals via the Globalization Partners portal, managing contracts, bonuses, and job changes.
- Facilitate the cultural onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring immediate alignment with OfferUp’s mission and values.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a high-growth tech environment or startup.
- Proven ability to coach managers and influence outcomes without direct authority; expert-level interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience managing or contributing to HR programs with a focus on operational excellence and optimization.
- High comfort level in the "back-end" of HRIS systems (ADP/Culture Amp); configuration experience is a plus.
- You enjoy using data to tell a compelling story and identifying gaps in the employee experience before being asked.
- You thrive in the balance of high-level advisory work and the roll-up-your-sleeves work of system administration.
- Experience with global workforce administration (LATAM) and familiarity with EOR platforms like Globalization Partners is nice to have.
