About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide acquisition and program management support in accordance with FAR, DoDI 5000.02, and applicable Air Force guidance
- Support development and maintenance of acquisition reports, briefings, schedules, and program documentation
- Assist Program Managers and IPT Leads with program execution, acquisition planning, and risk management activities
- Support cost, schedule, and performance management efforts across acquisition and development programs
- Review and support acquisition documentation including RFPs, SRDs, SOWs, CDRLs, LCSPs, APBs, and milestone briefings
- Support implementation and execution of acquisition and development activities with Government and contractor teams
- Assist with development of acquisition strategies, source selection documentation, and program risk assessments
- Review contractor deliverables, schedules, and integration activities
- Support Mission Planning Environment (MPE) activities, software development evaluations, and operational planning efforts
- Provide support for EVM analysis, funding documentation, and acquisition reporting activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a US citizen
- Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret Level Clearance
- Master’s Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 15+ years of directly related experience
- 5 years of experience in DoD
- Experience with Air Battle Management
- Experience with Air Operations Weapons School/Top Gun Graduate
- Knowledge of DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75 acquisition processes
- Experience supporting acquisition lifecycle management activities
- Familiarity with cloud-based systems and cloud cost/performance management
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps principles
- Experience using Microsoft Office and DoD acquisition systems including IDECS, EDA, and CCaR.
