Reporting to Paddy, our Co-CEO, you'll lead and grow a team of ~7 engineers, fostering a high-performing, low-ego culture grounded in accountability, ownership, and technical excellence
Build psychological safety and trust so everyone feels comfortable raising issues, asking questions, and giving feedback
Deliver regular, actionable feedback and run fair, evidence-based reviews that set clear expectations for growth and delivery
Work closely with Product to deliver high-quality releases that customers love, balancing speed, quality, and maintainability
Own and continuously improve processes across QA, support, and incident response, ensuring reliability and operational excellence
Hire exceptional engineers, define the bar, and coach others to interview and assess effectively
Guide architectural decisions, coding standards, and security practices; stay technically credible and hands-on when needed
Align engineering priorities with company goals, communicating progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly across teams
Promote responsible, effective use of AI tools to improve productivity, quality, and developer experience
Use data and reflection to drive continuous improvement in speed, reliability, and team experience
Balance technical investment with commercial impact, ensuring engineering decisions drive customer and business value
Requirements
