About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Write and edit betting tips, match previews, predictions, and tournament analysis in Spanish for the FIFA World Cup 2026 coverage cycle
- Produce daily/match-day content: previews, value bet picks, accumulators, prop suggestions, group-stage and knockout-round analysis
- Edit and quality-check content from other Spanish-language contributors, ensuring tone, accuracy, and brand voice consistency
- Follow internal SEO content guidelines: on-page structure, content briefs, internal linking
- Verify factual accuracy on teams, lineups, form, injuries, and tournament context up to publication time
- Maintain a high publishing cadence aligned with the tournament calendar
Requirements
What you’ll need- Spanish as mother tongue
- Deep knowledge of football: La Liga, European club competitions, international football, World Cup format and history
- 3+ years writing and/or editing betting content in the Italian iGaming market
- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals (briefs, on-page components, internal linking, keyword targeting for match-related queries)
- Familiarity with the Spanish betting market
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines during a live tournament
- Nice to have: Working knowledge of other sports (tennis, basketball, F1, etc.)
- Prior editor-level experience reviewing other writers' output
- Experience with ClickUp and editorial workflow tools
