Oddball builds quality software for the federal space to improve millions of Americans' daily lives
Senior Python Engineer to work on a pivotal Federal program impacting millions of Americans
Write code, develop tests, and debug production and pre-production systems
Provide input on high-level architecture and coding decisions
Perform other related duties as assigned

5+ years experience working with Python
Experience with the following tools: Fast API, Async Django, Starlet
Minimum of 3 years working in an Agile software development environment
Experience with system testing methodologies and software development life cycles
A solid understanding of API design and how backend systems work
AWS cloud experience with Fargate, Lambdas and ECS are nice to haves
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and take initiative in performing tasks
Must be a team player and able to work professionally and collaboratively with the government customer and other contract members of the project team
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; certain roles may require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance
