About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect and guide large-scale data management initiatives — including backup/recovery, archival, anonymization, and high-volume data migrations — for global enterprise customers.
- Serve as the technical thought partner to customer architects and executives, providing guidance on regulated industry requirements (PII, GDPR, HIPAA, DORA) and best practices.
- Provide architectural leadership to customers on designing scalable data workflows and integrations using AWS, Snowflake, or Databricks, ensuring their workflow system data strategies meet enterprise performance, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Apply practical AI/ML techniques to customer use cases such as intelligent classification, anomaly detection, and automated compliance workflows (experience helpful but growth in this area expected and supported).
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap, validate use cases, and accelerate adoption of new data and AI-driven capabilities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deep Salesforce technical expertise, including APIs, data model, metadata architecture, security/sharing model, and platform limits/performance considerations.
- Hands-on experience delivering solutions in regulated environments (e.g., Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Public Sector) with strong understanding of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, DORA, etc.).
- Proven track record leading large, complex data migrations and operationalizing enterprise-grade strategies for backup, restore, archival, and data lifecycle management.
- Strong data engineering foundation, including experience building data pipelines, ETL flows, or lakehouse/lake-based architectures using Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS-native services.
- Ability to learn and apply AI/ML concepts (LLMs, classification, anomaly detection) to real-world customer data problems. Prior AI experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills — including influencing VP/CXO-level stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
