About the role

  • You lead a team of specialists in market communication within the Meter Operations (WiM) area, both functionally and disciplinarily.
  • You are responsible for the ongoing market communication processes in accordance with WiM and GPKE for us as a competitive metering operator.
  • You ensure that deadlines, formats and processes are observed and proactively identify optimization opportunities in the market or in our internal workflows.
  • You continuously develop the team and our internal processes with a clear focus on quality, scalability and automation.
  • You work closely with business units, system partners (e.g., GWA service providers) and project teams to efficiently integrate new requirements into our process landscape.
  • You keep KPIs, market communication incidents and returns in view at all times and address issues proactively before they escalate.

Requirements

  • You already have initial experience in the energy sector — for example in supplier switching (GPKE) or meter operations (WiM).
  • You structure workflows efficiently: whether daily operations or special processes — you ensure clarity, transparency and good team dynamics.
  • In operational day-to-day work you and your team keep an overview — and you step in proactively when things get stuck.
  • You use KPIs such as service quality, throughput times or error rates to improve together — not to apply pressure.
  • You enjoy questioning processes, thinking them through and exploring new approaches.
  • You speak very good German. English is a plus but not mandatory.
  • You are solution-oriented, decisive and willing to take on responsibility — step by step.
  • You bring analytical thinking, are digitally savvy and have a good feel for processes.
  • You have either already gained leadership experience — or are ready for your first leadership role with a focus on team empowerment, clarity and shared learning.
