About the role
- Purchase electricity to supply our B2B and B2C customers with French, renewable power
- Anticipate and forecast green energy purchases
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of renewable energy plants
- Develop direct partnerships with renewable energy producers
- Negotiate bank guarantees with producers and their aggregators
- Obtain the Vertvolt Label
- Monitor and participate in the audit of the Vertvolt Label by ADEME
- Monitor and ensure Octopus’s compliance with various environmental mechanisms and regulations
- Participate in initiatives that promote the development of renewable energy
Requirements
- Experience in the energy sector
- Proven experience in energy procurement or working at a generator/producer or an energy aggregator
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Strong interest in the green energy sector
