About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the Lead Assessor on CMMC Level 2 certification assessments
Lead scoping, pre-assessment readiness reviews, and finalization of the assessment plan
Direct evidence collection and validation across all 110 NIST SP 800-171 Rev 2 security requirements
Make and defend final determinations for each requirement
Assign and supervise the work of Certified CMMC Assessors (CCAs)
Author and review the final assessment report
Serve as the primary point of contact with the OSC
Ensure all assessment activities comply with the Cyber AB Code of Professional Conduct

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Active Lead Certified CMMC Assessor (LCCA) certification in good standing
Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable Tier 3 background investigation
Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, information systems, or a related field
Typically 7+ years of cybersecurity or information assurance experience
In-depth knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 Rev 2
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCP, or equivalent strongly preferred.
Strong leadership, assessment report writing, and client-facing communication skills.
Location / on-site: Remote-eligible with availability to travel to client sites
