About the role
- Perform contract closeout activities for federal contracts, specializing in close-out processes
- Close firm-fixed-price (FFP) contracts and support closeout of cost-reimbursement, time-and-materials, labor-hour, or hybrid contracts
- Prepare expired contracts for archiving or destruction and manage closeout documentation
- Support acquisition/procurement office operations and collaborate with federal clients (including USAID) and internal teams
- Work a hybrid schedule with office presence in Tyson's Corner, VA and travel to Washington D.C. client headquarters as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of federal contract closeout experience
- Experience as Contract Specialist or in Contracting and Procurement with specialization in close-out activities
- Experience closing firm-fixed (FFP) contracts
- Experience closing cost-reimbursement, time and material, labor hour, or hybrid contracts preferred
- Experience supporting an acquisition office in the Contract and Procurement Series, 1102 preferred
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Must have experience with the preparation of expired contracts for archiving or destruction
- Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance (investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check)
- Work primarily remotely and at least two days a week at OCT’s office in Tyson’s Corner, VA; must be willing to travel to the client’s headquarters in Washington D.C. as needed
- Must be a US Citizen
