About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide HR system support, including development, testing, maintenance, reporting, and integration
  • Develop ad hoc and standard reports to support internal client data requests and business requirements
  • Recommend reporting logic and technical solutions to improve process efficiency and data integrity
  • Conduct regular audits to identify data problems and inconsistencies across HR system data feeds and business systems
  • Review, test, and implement Workday weekly updates, semi-annual feature releases, and ongoing changes
  • Develop and execute test plans for system functionality
  • Provide technical assistance to HR system administrators and end users, including reporting, troubleshooting, and queries
  • Prepare communication materials and information for employee and manager education and self-service
  • Monitor adherence to data management procedures
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and management to identify problems and resolve inquiries
  • Review pending business process transactions and ensure timely completion of terminations, job changes, hires, and related processes
  • Provide Workday mailbox and functional lead HR support
  • Transfer knowledge to functional teams so they can operate independently in Workday
  • Submit and manage JIRA tickets, track status, and partner with internal teams to resolve issues
  • Assist functional leads with Workday Community searches
  • Identify, develop, and deliver HR system training for end users
  • Support technical solutions that meet business requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline
  • Minimum of 6 years of HRIS experience, with an emphasis on Human Capital Management
  • Workday experience strongly preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business and technical requirements analysis for human resource systems integration, HRIS data configuration, workflow management, and business processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels, including system users, senior management, and executive management
  • Ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, nested formulas, and lookups
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
  • Experience with Workday Absence, Benefits, Time Tracking, Learning, and Payroll modules is desirable but not required
