Administer nursing care within a school system

Requirements

What you’ll need

Registered Nurse Diploma
Current RN license in the state of practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Computer skills and dexterity for patient-information data entry and retrieval
Proficiency with Windows-style applications and role-specific software packages
Keyboard proficiency
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to frequently exert 10–20 pounds of force and occasionally up to 100 pounds of force
Ability to work in an environment with potential occupational exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste
