Apprentice Pharmacy Technician

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Commit to the course schedule during the 15-month training program
- Assume responsibility to meet competencies and learning milestones outlined in the program
- Report to the program’s designated training partner for theoretical instruction
- Designate time for crucial job training in the designated department during clinical rotations
- Complete face-to-face clinical theory instructions, simulations labs, and virtual learning platform
- Adapt behavior to specific patient populations
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Remain knowledgeable of laws, regulations, and accreditation standards pertaining to the assigned area of responsibility.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be enrolled in a designated (PTCB) accredited Pharmacy Technician training program within 30 days of hire
- Must obtain Pharmacy Technician Candidate registration in the state of practice within 90 days of hire
- Must have computer skills for data entry and information retrieval
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and various software packages specific to the role
- Strong interpersonal skills.
