About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serves as a strategic People & Culture partner, developing a deep understanding of business priorities and workforce dynamics to align people strategies, programs, and solutions with organizational objectives.
- Provides leaders with forward looking insights, workforce analysis, and strategic guidance to support decision making, organizational effectiveness, talent planning, and business performance.
- Partners with leaders to anticipate and address workforce challenges, including organizational design, change management, employee engagement, retention, succession planning, and team effectiveness.
- Acts as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders and employees on performance management, employee relations, workplace concerns, leadership effectiveness, and culture, balancing business outcomes with employee experience and risk mitigation.
- Leads and supports strategic initiatives and business critical projects, ensuring people and culture considerations are integrated into planning, implementation, and outcomes.
- Uses workforce data, trends, and organizational insights to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging needs, recommending proactive solutions that strengthen engagement, retention, inclusion, and organizational capability.
- Partners across People & Culture Centers of Excellence to ensure integrated delivery of talent, learning, total rewards, organizational development, and employee experience strategies.
- Ensures compliance with employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies while maintaining awareness of evolving legislative and workforce trends that may impact OCHIN.
- Champions continuous improvement by introducing innovative practices, tools, and approaches that enhance organizational agility, leadership capability, employee growth, and business effectiveness.
- Builds trusted relationships across the organization, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a culture of high performance aligned with OCHIN's mission and values.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or equivalent relevant combination of education and experience in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in multiple People and Culture disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, performance management, and federal and state respective laws preferred.
- HRIS experience preferred.
- Professional People and Culture Certification (SHRM/HRCI) preferred.
- Ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to collect and analyze data, draw reliable conclusions, and recommend operational improvements.
- Experience implementing HR initiatives and delivering results in a changing, growing business environment.
- Ability to self-manage and work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills that support collaboration and build trust.
- Experience working in a growing, multistate organization, with the flexibility to occasionally support business needs outside standard hours across time zones.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills, with the ability to guide leaders through complex situations.
- Constant interpersonal skills, teamwork, and customer service.
