About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide accurate and timely revenue cycle and account management services to OBS member clients
- Identify and resolve claims issues, maintaining compliance with payer requirements
- Engage in continuous process improvement
- Provide high-quality billing and customer service support to member clinics and their patients
- Manage self-pay accounts and customer inquiries or processing daily claims production
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in billing and/or coding revenue cycle preferred
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, MVA, Workers Comp and private insurance billing and reimbursement processes
- Experience billing for Nevada highly preferred
- FQHC Experience and knowledge preferred
- Prior Self Care Experience is preferred
- Medical Billing Certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), preferred
- Acute Care hospital work, rural hospital experience is required.
