About the role

  • Partner with a boutique management consulting firm providing CFO and Controller services.
  • Support financial modeling, scenario planning, and decision-making for leadership teams.
  • Analyze complex datasets and build dynamic models for actionable insights.
  • Deliver accurate financial models and analyses that inform strategic decisions.
  • Evaluate financial performance, KPIs, and trends for reporting packages.
  • Collaborate with client leadership and internal teams on budgets and strategies.
  • Identify process improvements and lead ad-hoc analyses for enhanced understanding.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, or management consulting.
  • Technical Skills: Exceptional Excel proficiency; ability to build and maintain complex financial models and work with large datasets.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to present insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Time Management: Ability to handle multiple client engagements in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Tools: Familiarity with accounting platforms (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and analytical tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
  • Bonus skills: Certifications: MBA, CPA, or CFA credentials.
  • Automation: Experience streamlining financial workflows through automation or data integration tools.
  • Leadership: Experience mentoring junior analysts or managing workstreams.
