About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assists in building strategies for assigned categories to support improvements in cost effectiveness and supplier service levels and quality while focusing on mitigating risk.
Executes category sourcing strategies including RFIs and RFPs, develops selection criteria and drives optimal supplier selections in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Conducts supplier negotiations and contracting, and coordinates with stakeholders on program implementation and ongoing supplier management.
Researches and provides information on category trends and best practices.
Actively seeks opportunities to streamline business processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Manufacturing-related experience (consumer/food/beverage preferred)
Contract negotiation/contract development and review experience
ERP system (e.g. SAP, Oracle, etc.) and S2P system (e.g., Ariba, Ivalua, Coupa, etc.) experience
Strategic sourcing and supplier relationship experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
