About the role
- Regional Business Manager - UNFI role to build and execute sales plans for UNFI and Central regional grocery accounts
Work closely with Team Lead to ensure business objectives are exceeded and business plan executed within allocated trade budget
Home office role with preferred location of Central/East US; ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Manage trade system, forecasts, quotas, and broker to minimize deductions
Lead CM process with customer and present plans at Customer HQ to gain commitment
Manage 3rd party broker and Region Trade Budget; integrate category management and consumer knowledge
Build credibility with customers, division team, OSC HQ, and Agent organization
Requirements
- 5+ years CPG experience
3+ years broker and/or direct customer management a plus
Ability to develop, lead, and execute a sales plan
Strong communication skills both internally and externally
Ability to manage change
Ability to proactively identify, develop, and act on opportunities.
Track record of delivering objectives
Demonstrated problem solving ability in an efficient manner.
Working knowledge and application of category management.
Working understanding of specific customer, process, or class of trade.
Demonstrated trade management abilities
Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
