About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide personal healthcare and related services as an extension of nursing or therapy
Assist in providing a safe and clean environment
Work cooperatively with the patient, caregiver(s), and family
Share observations and problems with the supervisor
Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, hygiene, and dressing
Assist with ambulation, transfers, and elimination
Perform linen changes and range of motion exercises
Prepare light meals and perform light housekeeping
Report on the patient's condition to the assigned nurse
Adhere to documentation and care procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current California Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification
At least 18 years of age
Ability to read, understand, and follow written care instructions
Current CPR certification
Ability to travel to patients’ homes
Experience in Home Healthcare
