About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the management of agency accounts, assisting account managers with partner satisfaction, retention and growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Account Managers and support account management activities pertaining to agency-related matters
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Obie’s products, services and underwriting guidelines
- Support recruitment of new agency partners that align with Obie’s target market and growth objectives
- Support the intake process for new agencies, ensuring they have everything they need to write business with Obie
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years of experience working in an agency or with agency partners.
- Previous experience working with agency partners, brokerages, or agency networks is desirable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive problem-solving and ownership mentality
- Knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and best practices
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Passion for early-stage startups and/or high growth environments
- Able to deal well with ambiguity and maintain composure in complex situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, Power Point/Google Slides and CRM reporting tools
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Active Property and Casualty license required
