About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review all forms and clinical records for client’s reimbursement.
Reference OASIS assessment and patient’s therapy evaluation for accuracy and completeness of each visit notes.
Audit charts for clinical oversight, compliance and adherence to the Medicare guidelines.
Identify clinical problem areas and document deficiency trends.
Communicate with clients’ administrative and clinical associate staff in the correction of any such deficiencies.
Submit QA worklog report at discretion of agency

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current RN License in the state of Florida
Two (2) years’ Home Health experience as a QA Nurse is REQUIRED.
Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
Willing to undergo training in nursing QA review and Medicare guidelines, if needed
Clinical experience in the acute care and home care setting
Working knowledge of Medicare home health requirements
Proficiency in computer software (i.e., Microsoft Office, Wellsky Kinnser, etc.)
