About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in HSDiT program for advancement opportunity
  • Gain comprehensive understanding of managing a team as a Health Services Director
  • Work under a current Health Services Director to gain on-the-job experience
  • Complete an anticipated three-month training program without additional responsibilities during this period
  • After completing the program, assignment could be any Health Services Director position or various management positions in Oakmont communities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Minimum of six months in current position for Oakmont team members
  • Prefer two (2) years of experience as a Licensed Nurse; one (1) year of experience working in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
  • California LVN or RN License in good standing
  • Willingness to travel throughout the state during training and openness to relocation
  • Demonstrated interest in clinical leadership; prior experience coaching or mentoring peers preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to serve older adults
  • Ability to patiently interact with cognitively impaired individuals
  • Proficient in basic computer systems
  • Ability to learn electronic health records and other Company tools
  • Able to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with residents, families, and coworkers
  • Must be coachable, highly motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to obtain and maintain valid First Aid and CPR,
  • Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Health Screening tests.
