About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in HSDiT program for advancement opportunity
- Gain comprehensive understanding of managing a team as a Health Services Director
- Work under a current Health Services Director to gain on-the-job experience
- Complete an anticipated three-month training program without additional responsibilities during this period
- After completing the program, assignment could be any Health Services Director position or various management positions in Oakmont communities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Minimum of six months in current position for Oakmont team members
- Prefer two (2) years of experience as a Licensed Nurse; one (1) year of experience working in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
- California LVN or RN License in good standing
- Willingness to travel throughout the state during training and openness to relocation
- Demonstrated interest in clinical leadership; prior experience coaching or mentoring peers preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to serve older adults
- Ability to patiently interact with cognitively impaired individuals
- Proficient in basic computer systems
- Ability to learn electronic health records and other Company tools
- Able to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with residents, families, and coworkers
- Must be coachable, highly motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to obtain and maintain valid First Aid and CPR,
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Health Screening tests.
