About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in training to gain a comprehensive understanding of how to manage a team
Work under a current Health Services Director to gain on-the-job experience
Complete departmental training
After program completion, potential assignments include Health Services Director or management positions in communities
Complete the program without additional responsibilities by hiring a replacement for your current role

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Minimum of six months in current position with Oakmont
Prefer two (2) years experience as a Licensed Nurse; one (1) years experience working in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
California LVN or RN License in good standing
Willing to travel throughout the state
Open to relocation for a permanent position
Demonstrated interest in clinical leadership
Prior experience coaching or mentoring peers preferred
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Passion for serving older adults
Able to work with seniors and interact with cognitively impaired individuals
Proficient in basic computer systems
Ability to learn electronic health records and other Company tools
Able to read, write, and speak English
Able to adapt and respond to change, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
Must be coachable, highly motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively
Able to obtain and maintain valid First Aid and CPR
