About the role
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements for the product, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.
- Design and propose scalable system architectures, data models, and technical workflows
- Evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed features, identifying potential risks, dependencies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Analyze and improve technical processes, ensuring efficient integration of APIs, third-party services, and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Work closely with engineering, QA, and design teams to ensure seamless translation of requirements into development-ready specifications and to support implementation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Leverage data analytics to assess system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend enhancements to improve product reliability and user experience.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system diagrams, API specifications, and user flows, to support development and stakeholder communication.
- Monitor project progress, manage tasks, and provide regular status reports to leadership.
- Act as a technical liaison between non-technical stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring clear communication of complex technical concepts.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an IT Analyst with a strong understanding of cloud-based architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and microservices.
- Ability to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, developers, and designers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on creating precise documentation and ensuring technical accuracy in all deliverables.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Productboard, Miro or equivalent for requirements management, system design, and API testing.
- Familiarity with security best practices (HIPAA knowledge desirable but not essential)
- Healthcare experience is preferred but not essential
