Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using cloud-native and serverless patterns.
Build and operate event-driven and message-based systems to handle high-throughput data flows.
Develop containerised services and Azure Functions.
Work with data platforms using SQL, supporting ingestion, transformation, and delivery use cases.
Own services in production, including deployment, monitoring, observability, and reliability.
Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape technical direction and best practices.
Identify and address technical debt, performance issues, and operational risks.
Collaborate closely with other engineers, sharing knowledge and raising engineering standards.

Requirements

Several years’ experience building and operating production backend systems.
Strong experience with C# / .NET (Python experience also welcome).
Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational or analytical databases.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, others welcome).
Experience designing or working with distributed or event-driven systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
Strong understanding of clean code, testing, and software engineering best practices.
Comfortable working in Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
Fluent in English.
