About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the firm’s dynamic and sophisticated practice representing premier local and national employers.
- Handle a wide range of labor & employment matters and business litigation.
- Work with a diverse practice group that handles single plaintiff employment litigation, wage & hour class action litigation, contract disputes, professional liability, and business disputes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in civil litigation
- This role requires legal research, drafting of pleadings motions and other documents, taking and defending depositions, drafting and answering discovery requests, trial preparation and trial assistance. Experience with both state and federal courts preferred.
- This position also requires the ability to communicate with both clients and colleagues in an effective manner.
- This position will require some local travel for court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, site inspections and depositions.
- Admission to the state bar of Washington is required.
