About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support attorneys who focus their practice on general litigation, including single and multi-plaintiff suits, Class/PAGA action suits, and complex litigation matters.
  • Possess a strong understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures.
  • Maintain excellent communication skills and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Work independently, as well as with the team, demonstrating a positive attitude.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in complex litigation, ideally in both Superior Court and in the Court of Chancery in Delaware.
  • Relevant experience in civil defense litigation.
  • Trial experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of various State and Federal court rules and procedures.
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Office, LexisNexis, Odyssey e-file, Pacer and ECF Filing Systems. Experience with iManage or similar document management platforms a plus.
  • Experience with PowerPoint and other presentation software highly desirable.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent time and deadline management skills.
