About the role
- O'Hagan Meyer PLLC is seeking a litigation associate to join its Maryland office.
- This is an excellent opportunity for associates to provide legal service within a sophisticated practice and who are seeking to assume a significant role in all aspects of the complex litigation process.
- The right attorney will have experience with any of the following: general liability, professional liability, products liability, construction litigation, real estate, mass torts and/or class actions.
Requirements
- This role requires legal research, drafting of pleadings motions and other documents, taking and defending depositions, drafting and answering discovery requests, trial preparation and trial assistance. Experience with both state and federal courts preferred.
- This position also requires the ability to communicate with both clients and colleagues in an effectively.
- This position will require some local travel for court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, site inspections and depositions.
- Admission to the state bar of Maryland is required.
