About the role

  • - O'Hagan Meyer PLLC is seeking a litigation associate to join its Charlotte office.
  • - This is an excellent opportunity for associates to provide legal service within a sophisticated practice and who are seeking to assume a significant role in all aspects of the complex litigation process.

Requirements

  • - This role requires legal research, drafting of pleadings motions and other documents, taking and defending depositions, representing clients in mediation, drafting and answering discovery requests, trial preparation and trial assistance.
  • - Experience with both state and federal courts preferred, as well as state and federal administrative agencies.
  • - Strong writing and analytical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • - This position will require some travel for court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, site inspections and depositions.
  • - A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
  • - Admission to the state bar of North Carolina is required. __*Admission to South Carolina, Georgia, and/or Virginia is a plus.*__
