About the role

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities through outreach, follow-ups, and customer visits.
  • Prepare quotes, process orders, and coordinate deliveries to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Aftermarket Sales Manager and the sales team to develop strategies, monitor market trends, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Participate in trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to promote products and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and territory performance within the ERP system.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Provide product education and demonstrations, highlighting features, benefits, and applications.
  • Conduct on-site customer visits to assess needs and provide technical recommendations and aftermarket solutions.
  • Conduct outbound calls, respond to inbound inquiries, and re-engage past customers to generate sales opportunities.
  • Identify customer needs and provide accurate, tailored solutions, including technical recommendations for aftermarket HVAC products.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • A minimum of three to five (3–5) years of sales experience in HVAC, construction, or a related technical industry.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and manage long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM/ERP systems preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
