Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee global container and freight management across ocean, air, and land modes
Manage shipment exceptions and disruptions proactively
Build and manage strategic relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, NVOCCs, 3PLs, and other logistics service providers
Own HTS classification of goods and ensure full global trade compliance
Manage end-to-end customs clearance and documentation processes
Lead final mile delivery operations
Drive rate management and cost optimization through RFQs/RFPs
Manage transportation technology and analytics (TMS, tracking systems)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field
4–6 years of progressive experience in global logistics (first mile and final mile) and trade compliance
Proven experience managing multi-modal international freight operations, including ocean, air, and road transportation
Strong expertise in customs regulations, HTS classification, trade compliance frameworks, and global import/export requirements
Demonstrated success in freight contract negotiation, carrier management, and delivering measurable cost savings at scale
Experience leading and developing teams across multiple geographies with strong leadership and people development capability
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Proficiency in TMS platforms, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel
