About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting customers in: FF&E logistics (retail, restaurant, convenience store, healthcare, commercial projects)
  • New store openings/closures, rebranding/remodel project management, fixture rollouts, forward deployed warehouse consolidation
  • Consolidation and distribution programs/projects in the defined sectors B2B Final-mile and white-glove delivery solutions
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within SCS and NXTPoint offerings
  • Conduct consultative discovery to understand complex customer needs and design tailored logistics solutions while leveraging the complete service offering of NXTPoint Logistics
  • Partner with operations and engineering teams to develop custom 3PL solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including: Prospecting Solution design Proposal development Contract negotiation Onboarding assistance
  • Establish and maintain strong Customer relationships through high emotional intelligence and service orientation
  • Stay informed on market trends within freight forwarding, FF&E logistics, and specialized supply chain services
  • Participate in and lead sales presentations and negotiations.
  • Meet or exceed annual individual sales goals and objectives within the prescribed time frame
  • Complete required reports in a timely and accurate manner and maintain data in the Customer Relationship Management system (Hubspot)
  • Leverage sales enablement tools (Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to create prospects based on the ideal customer profile.
  • Participate in specified industry conferences on a national, regional and local basis.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Department in leading proposals, presentations, RFPs and other collateral materials, as required.
  • Work closely with Sales and Contracts team on pricing, contract terms and conditions.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all members of the team, to include customers, service partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Accept additional job assignments and participates in project work as requested.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum 3 (three) years business development experience in relevant sales role within industry
  • Proven track record of developing prospects and securing new Customers
  • Prior familiarity with freight forwarding, FF&E logistics, consolidation/distribution, final-mile B2B white glove delivery & Project/Installation Services.
