Area Sales Manager – Berlin Region

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Regional responsibility & revenue growth in the Berlin region: planning, managing and executing sales activities with a clear focus on closing deals.
- Customer management in a hospital setting: building and maintaining relationships with cardiology departments, catheterization labs, electrophysiology, vascular surgery, procurement and relevant committees.
- Product presentations & training for users and decision-makers; supporting clinical evaluations and device introductions in accordance with MPG/MPBetreibV (German Medical Devices Act/Medical Devices Operator Ordinance).
- Market & competitor monitoring: deriving concrete measures for pipeline development, positioning and campaigns; participating in congresses and regional specialist conferences.
- Pipeline, forecasting & CRM: transparent management of your sales-funnel KPIs, reliable forecasting and consistent documentation in the CRM.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics and suppliers; feeding market feedback into portfolio and strategic planning.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ideally experience in sales within the MedTech environment, cardiovascular/interventional (e.g. catheterization, coronary or peripheral interventions, OR/Hybrid-OR) or comparable.
- A strong network in hospitals/procurement is an advantage; proven track record in project and account closing.
- Confident working in clinical environments; basic understanding of DRG/AOP/Hybrid-DRG mechanisms and tendering processes is an advantage.
- Self-driven, structured, entrepreneurial thinker; confident in needs analysis, value-based argumentation and negotiation.
- Proficient in CRM and MS 365; very good German and good English; driving licence Class B.
- High willingness to travel within the Berlin region.
