Area Sales Manager – Stuttgart Region

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Regional responsibility & revenue growth in the Stuttgart region: plan, manage and execute sales activities with a clear focus on closing deals
- Customer management in hospital settings: develop and maintain relationships with cardiology, catheterization labs, electrophysiology, vascular surgery, procurement and relevant committees
- Product presentations & training for users and decision-makers; support clinical evaluations and device introductions in accordance with the German Medical Devices Act (MPG) and the Medical Devices Operator Ordinance (MPBetreibV)
- Market & competitor monitoring: derive concrete actions for the pipeline, positioning and campaigns; participate in congresses and regional specialist conferences
- Pipeline, forecast & CRM: transparent management of your sales-funnel KPIs, reliable forecasts and consistent documentation in the CRM
- Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics and suppliers; provide market feedback as input for the portfolio and strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ideally experience in MedTech sales with a cardiovascular/interventional focus (e.g., catheterization, coronary or peripheral interventions, OR/Hybrid-OR) or equivalent
- Established network within hospitals/procurement is an advantage
- Proven track record in project and account closing
- Confident working in clinical environments
- Basic understanding of DRG/AOP/hybrid-DRG mechanisms and tendering processes is an advantage
- Able to work independently
- Structured working style
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Confident in needs analysis, value-based argumentation and negotiation
- Proficient with CRM
- Microsoft 365
- Very good German language skills
- Good English
- Driving license (Class B)
- High willingness to travel within the Stuttgart region
