About the role
- Working with HW and SW Architects and designers to determine optimal microarchitectures and design tradeoffs
- Identifying micro-architectural solutions for connectivity, coherency, power management, security, memory management and other SOC level issues
- Understanding and helping drive implementation of bus protocols, networking protocols, memory access and security solutions across a range of products
- Modeling, analyzing and explaining the performance and power advantages of Nvidia chips and guide customers and firmware engineers to extract the most performance from micro-architectural structures
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Coursework and/or projects focused on computer architecture, performance, and system design
- Clear understanding of the performance, power and security implications of micro-architectural features
- Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
- A drive to continuously learn and expand architectural and micro-architectural breadth and depth
- Excellent coding and algorithmic thinking skills.
