About the role
- Build next-generation boards and systems and work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive functional test hardware solutions.
- Drive scope of the structural test plan on baseboards and systems, review design concepts, and define validation plans.
- Develop and automate configurations of test infrastructure to test product features and optimize test cost, quality, and manufacturability.
- Define ICT capability, HW design requirements, and board debug capabilities from design review through NPI to mass production.
- Optimize structural test plan to find SMT, PCB, and component issues early and implement structural test plan from EVT build.
- Work with board designers, layout engineers, tester vendors, and fixture houses providing DFM and guidance to meet ICT requirements.
- Provide support for production bring-up and debugging, including offshore new tester platform bring-up with ICT, BSI, FCT universal tester.
- Coordinate test fixtures/platform automation with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and global teams.
- Define and provide procedures, documentation, and technical support as needed.
Requirements
- Master degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, or other related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in ICT programming, fixture design/manufacturing, and factory testing areas.
- Experience in ICT development capability, HW design understanding, board debug capabilities, and structured test understanding.
- Experience in FCT HW setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of board manufacturing flow, PCB/fixture design, and proven program management capability.
- Excellent communication, quantitative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong team player with supporting and analytical skills, and good working habits.
- Self-starter who can accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
