About the role
- Lead and coordinate multi-functional teams to deliver customer infrastructure projects, ensuring clear assignment of responsibilities and effective collaboration.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, OEMs, and internal collaborators, facilitating communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define project requirements and identify vital resources in partnership with relevant teams.
- Present technical solutions to customers and partners, validating achievements and resolving issues to ensure successful deployments.
- Analyze customer difficulties and deployment plans, conducting gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and drive resolution.
- Supervise installation, configuration, and validation of infrastructure, monitoring progress, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Facilitate handover to support teams and provide ongoing post-deployment service, gathering feedback and driving continuous customer success.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale data center service operations with a focus on infrastructure
- BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields
- Experience coordinating project activities, interacting with customers, and providing technical solutions.
- Teamwork and communication skills; ability to work multi-functionally.
- Understanding of systems within data centers (system level) along with cloud orchestration software and job schedulers, cloud platforms, and supply chain processes.
- Experience with tools such as SFDC, Wrike, SAP is a plus.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills, paired with the capacity to direct complex projects and guide technical teams.
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and their integration with traditional infrastructure is crucial.
