About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Project Manager plays a key role in driving the successful deployment of strategic contractor initiatives and mega project activities across EMEA
  • Support sales development throughout both the pre‑sales and execution phases of selected projects
  • Lead detailed project planning, coordinate internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee on‑site installation activities, conduct site surveys and training sessions, proactively resolve issues
  • Acting as the central liaison between customers, internal teams, and third‑party contractors to ensure seamless implementation of nVent solutions
  • Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to support solution design
  • Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining tasks, timelines, milestones, and ownership following contract signature
  • Define project scope and objectives, and lead kickoff meetings with internal teams and external contractors
  • Ensure all required permits, site access, and compliance requirements are secured in advance
  • Coordinate manufacturing and delivery schedules with the supply chain team to align installation timelines
  • Verify that installation activities comply with approved design documents and technical specifications
  • Document project closure, capture lessons learned and archive all project materials for future reference.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management
  • Ideally 5+ years of experience managing technical or industrial projects
  • Previous experience with electrical installation projects is a strong advantage
  • Excellent project management capabilities, with strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills
  • Flexibility to travel across Europe as required for project execution
  • Proficiency in English; additional European languages are an advantage for local site coordination.
