About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the technical delivery both as a project manager and site lead for mission critical commissioning projects with minimal supervision while completing assignments that require independent judgement and evaluation.
Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors and other project team members.
Develop and maintain client relationships.
Manage project specific commissioning plans, commissioning procedures, checklists, test scripts, and schedules for Level 1 through Level 5 commissioning activities.
Lead onsite teams to perform functional performance tests on mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Provide project management and coordination to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget and schedule.

Requirements

What you’ll need

8 years or more of progressive experience in building systems commissioning
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience in diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems
Experience with cloud-based construction and commissioning management platforms
Working knowledge and experience of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems
Willingness to travel 75% or more as national level projects dictate.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (considered a plus)
PE License or ability to obtain one (considered a plus)
Commissioning Certification (considered a plus)
PMP Certification (considered a plus)
Test and Balance Certification (considered a plus)
