Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with engineering and design on projects
Develop and deliver reports on compliance for fire and life safety systems
Provide code and standard references and document research
Meet with jurisdiction authorities and clients to resolve compliance questions
Review and maintain knowledge of changing codes, standards, industry specifications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
EIT Examination passed; eligible for Professional Engineering exam within 4 years
Ability to travel 50-75% within US/Canada
Authorization to work in the United States
Knowledge of Fire, Life Safety, Building Codes, and NFPA Standards
Field engineering/consulting experience in fire protection
Working competency with MS Office & MS Project software
