About the role

  • Hands-on with technical design of buildings projects
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a growing team
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously including budgeting, scheduling, and client management & communication
  • Attend project sites and client meetings

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license in the state of Florida
  • 7+ years of relevant structural design engineering experience (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Wood)
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and standards specific to the West Coast, especially seismic considerations
  • Proficiency in RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, STADD, Enercalc, SteelSmart, Simpson CFS Designer, RISA, and Revit
  • Knowledge of building codes and construction practices
  • Litigation experience is a plus
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communication
