About the role
- Hands-on with technical design of buildings projects
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a growing team
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously including budgeting, scheduling, and client management & communication
- Attend project sites and client meetings
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in the state of Florida
- 7+ years of relevant structural design engineering experience (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Wood)
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and standards specific to the West Coast, especially seismic considerations
- Proficiency in RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, STADD, Enercalc, SteelSmart, Simpson CFS Designer, RISA, and Revit
- Knowledge of building codes and construction practices
- Litigation experience is a plus
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communication
