About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power BI.
- Build and manage data models, tables, relationships, business rules, and security within Microsoft Dataverse.
- Gather, analyze, and refine business requirements, translating them into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop automated workflows and integrations that improve business processes and operational efficiency.
- Create dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Support the full application lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Manage solution promotion and deployment across Development, Test, and Production environments.
- Implement best practices for security, compliance, performance, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and platform issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, architects, and other technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational support materials.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on Power Platform architecture, development standards, and best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of professional software development, application development, or Power Platform experience.
- Hands-on experience building solutions using:
- Microsoft Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Power Pages
- Power BI
- Strong experience working with Microsoft Dataverse, including data modeling, relationships, security roles, and business rules.
- Experience designing and implementing end-to-end business process automation solutions.
- Experience managing deployments and solution promotion across Development, Test, and Production environments.
- Strong understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and release management practices within the Power Platform ecosystem.
- Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft and third-party applications.
- Experience gathering business requirements and partnering with stakeholders to define and deliver solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- One or more active Microsoft Power Platform certifications required:
- PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant
- PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer
- PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect
- Prior experience supporting federal government clients or programs.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
