About the role

  • Receive and handle IT requests and incidents
  • Classify, document and resolve IT issues at 1st-level support
  • Escalate complex requests to downstream support or external service providers
  • Assist with maintenance and replacement of IT hardware
  • Set up, configure and issue IT devices (notebooks, smartphones, network equipment, etc.)
  • Manage IT assets (laptops, smartphones, other IT equipment)
  • Perform user administration (e.g., onboarding and offboarding)
  • Document solutions, processes and recurring issues
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in an IT field (e.g., Fachinformatiker for System Integration) or an equivalent qualification
  • Some experience in IT support, ideally in 1st-level support
  • Knowledge of Windows environments (e.g., clients, servers, Active Directory)
  • Experience in M365 administration
  • Experience with service-desk platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, ServiceDesk Plus) is an advantage
  • Strong service orientation, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Independent and structured working style
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
