About the role

  • Advising and supporting around 500 managers, project leads and employees on all HR-related matters
  • Conducting personnel, feedback and disciplinary discussions
  • Close collaboration with executive management, works councils and other employee representative bodies
  • Supporting organizational changes and assisting with structural adjustments within the framework of change management
  • Managing and implementing regular talent and performance management processes
  • Identifying training needs and developing appropriate measures for employee development
  • Advising managers on initiatives to increase employee engagement
  • Independently leading internal HR projects and actively contributing to HR working groups
  • Supporting the preparation of the personnel cost budget and strategic workforce planning

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business administration, psychology, human resources or a comparable field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience as an HR Business Partner, with international HR experience; experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry preferred
  • Solid knowledge of labor and collective labor law, experience with collective agreements and working with employee representatives
  • Enthusiasm for working with international and cross-functional teams
  • Independent, structured, reliable and solution-oriented working style, with a hands-on mentality and flexibility
  • Strong advisory skills, empathy and excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Assertiveness and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany
