About the role
- Lead the HR Operations team and drive the further development of the function
- Coordinate and execute labor law-related matters in close collaboration with the HR Business Partnership team and external legal counsel
- Draft and revise works agreements and company-level regulations
- Ensure compliance with labor law, company policies and data protection requirements
- Review contract documents, works council consultations and certificates for accuracy
- Prepare and present analyses and reports for local and global stakeholders
- Support audits and internal reviews, particularly as part of year-end closing processes
- Manage and maintain employee master data in the HR management system
- Implement new HR software, including vendor shortlisting, contract negotiations and change management
- Maintain and update company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and statutory requirements, and communicate these to all employees
- Support the implementation of optimized job descriptions
- Execute document handovers, e.g., contract updates and amendments, and act as point of contact for related inquiries
- Respond to and process employee inquiries and create knowledge articles on HR-specific topics
- Contribute to local and global HR projects to optimize existing processes and systems
- Participate in the continuous optimization, harmonization and standardization of HR processes
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Labor Law, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable HR operations role
- Ideally prior leadership experience; leadership competence is expected
- Solid knowledge of German labor law, collective agreements and HR administration
- Confident user of MS Office and ideally experienced with common HR IT systems (e.g., Workday)
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical mindset with a good affinity for numbers to precisely analyze HR data and strategically optimize HR processes
- Strong communication skills, discretion and a pronounced service orientation
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
- Willingness to travel occasionally to our German sites
