About the role
- Generate new business pipeline for Business Development Managers through inbound and outbound initiatives and activities.
- Demonstrate best-practice, up-to-date knowledge of our products and the value they deliver to prospective and existing clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and support onboarding of new clients.
- Manage time efficiently and prioritize workload.
- Proactively engage with potential and current clients to build strong relationships.
- Demonstrate the ability to attract new customers.
- Expand market knowledge and awareness through independent research.
- Develop sales leads using sales tools as part of outbound prospecting efforts.
- Organize and manage your pipeline and present updates to your line manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- Follow a disciplined approach to forecasting and opportunity management via SFDC (Salesforce) and supporting tools and processes
- Develop sales leads using sales tools as part of outbound prospecting efforts
- Qualify inbound leads generated through our website and other sources
- Proven track record of achieving targets and succeeding in competitive environments
- Ability to build internal and external relationships to obtain and share information (e.g., industry trends)
- Relevant customer-facing and telephone experience
- Exceptional relationship-building skills
- Fluent in English
- Excellent phone, written, and listening skills
- Self-starter with a desire to learn, grow, and excel in the role
