About the role

  • Nuvei is a Canadian fintech company providing payments, payouts, card issuing, banking, risk and fraud management services across 200+ markets.
  • Sales Development Representative supporting the APAC SDR team, focused on Hong Kong & Singapore to uncover outbound opportunities and qualify inbound leads.
  • Generate new business pipeline for Business Development Managers via inbound/outbound initiatives and activities.
  • Set a strong example for newer SDRs and demonstrate up-to-date product knowledge and value to clients.
  • Manage time efficiently, prioritise workload, and organise pipeline for presentation to line manager.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to improve business processes and support client onboarding.
  • Proactively engage with potential and current clients and build strong relationships.
  • Develop sales leads using sales tools and outbound prospecting efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Track record of achievement and success in competitive environments
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships to gain and share information such as industry trends.
  • Relevant customer facing/ calling experience
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent in English + Mandarin
  • Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills
  • Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role
