About the role
- Maintain and enforce the security/safety rules and regulations for the Nutrien- Aurora plant site
- Provide world-class customer service for those entering the production area
- Oversee and direct traffic and support operation activities
- Conduct periodic inspections and operate emergency response equipment in a safe manner
- Perform security checks for traffic entering the plant site
- Issue plant passes to visitors
- Confirm accuracy of all in-bound freight deliveries
- Enforce federal, state and company safety protocols and regulations
- Collect samples of all out-bound customer product
- Conduct inspections of perimeter security
- Provide emergency assistance to people on the plant-site and surrounding municipalities
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- The National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) testing is required for all hourly applicants of Nutrien.
- 1-3 years of work-related experience in security and/or Emergency Medical Training Certification (EMT) is preferred
- Keen observation skills, communication skills, and acute attention to details are needed
- Basic computer skills are required
