About the role
- Focus on developing strong customer relationships.
- Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, banking, receipting, and dispatching of goods.
- Assisting customers with pricing and product queries and processing counter sales.
- Maintaining safety processes.
- Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment.
- Conducting deliveries.
- Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment.
- Passion for learning and a “CAN-DO” attitude.
- Experience working within a sales environment.
- Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships.
- Proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly.
- A current driver’s license is essential.
- Forklift licence advantageous, but not essential.
